I really want to move!!!
I am so disgusted with living here ....I hope this isnt a problem in Keene. Tonight my family was in Old Navy shopping. There were these 2 girls or young women, who where in my way, so I said excuse me so I could pass. They just ignored me, so I said excuse me again...nothing, so this time I raised my voice some and said can you get out of my way please, then one of the girls started yelling at me F this, and F that, you Fn' B and C...I just stood there staring at them...I was in shock. All of this cuz I needed to get passed..and then one of the girls actually said she will see me in the parking lot to kick my a**. I really hate it here, and I hate all the boarder people that come over here with their crappy attitudes. They shouldnt even be in the country and yet they are wanting to kick my a**. I am truly at a loss. I havent been called names like that..um...well maybe the B word as some angry driver thinks I am not driving fast enough and passes me...I was sooo mad, it took me a few hours to calm down. I was ready to go kick some a** myself. Hey I might be small, but I dont like to be messed with. They followed us through the whole store and kept giving me filthy looks. So we waited for them to leave the store, as both my daughters were with us. Geez you arent even safe to shop at Old Navy without getting harassed. Is this a problem in Keene or even in NH? Are there mexican gangs or any kind of gangs for that matter, that try to scare you or confront you. This is what gives So Cali a bad name. These gangers are everywhere!!! I cant leave this state fast enough.

I don't think that's ever happened to me, I'm so sorry you have to put up with that. You're going to get nasty people everywhere you tend to go, but the holiday season seems to bring out that in people, some people. Keep thinking NH and you'll be here in no time. I'll put good vibes out for you, and welcome you with a big hug! Let's go sledding!

Suzet2262 - What an awful experience for you! I can't speak for the Keene area, or really anywhere in NH other than the northern areas, but up here we have never encountered anything like that. We've been to places south of here, just not as far as Keene and never experienced it either. I did see one guy "flip off" another in a car, but the way both drivers reacted, I think they knew each other and the guy did it kidding around, not maliciously if that makes any sense.
I think you will find a much different experience in NH and I hope for your peace of mind and sanity you can get here sooner rather than later!

Your on!!! I would love to do that. Yeah, I know the holidays can make people act like jerks, but this was way over the top. I always try to be a nice as possible, I just dont see the point of being an ass. Oh well. I will take you up on that hug too . You can never get too many of those either.

OH suzet thats horrible! I can speak for the Keene area and say I have NEVER experienced anything like that. Even from the younger crowd. My husband on the other hand has , but he's a cop, he deals with the scumbags and drunks who are beligerent (sp?) And I have said excuse me to people who were in my way.. I'm usually met with a smile and an apology or "sure, of course, excuse me" etc from them... People are MUCH friendlier here, from my experience. Just this morning I was walking (in lots of snow and I had 3 people just stop and talk to me about the snow, my dog's sweater, the holidays etc. Get your hinney out here will ya already! There's snow , skiing and sledding waiting for you!!! Who the heck am I suppose race 5 year olds down a hill with?? Certainly not my hubby

How terrible Suzet that people can be that nasty, especially at this time of year. The scary thing is that we just don't know what these people are capable of, they seem to be wired differently, so you did the right thing by waiting until they had left the store. Just think how much more you'll love it when you finally do make your way to NH!!!

People like that are everywhere. Heck here in FL, it's a hazzard to be walking out to your car without getting your purse snatched off your shoulder during the daytime. To get people to move out of your way, forget it, they might pull a gun out on you and shoot you for no reason. I'm not kidding. My husband and i were driving home one day at a stop light and this punk kid was next to us in the turn lane going into a parking lot spit at my window on the passenger side for no reason. Luckily my window was closed or my husband would have followed him to the parking lot but you have to wonder what these punks have under their seat. There's as many guns down here as hunters have in NH and let me tell you they are not used for hunting. It's just not worth it. This kind of crap is happening every single day and it's getting worse. Maybe you need to move to Northern NH and get away from the big cities in NH. I can't wait to get back there myself.

I live, work and play here in southern NH, and haven't had an experience like Suzet's, even in the border towns of Salem, Nashua, etc. Maybe just lucky...
