Suzet, I hate to take the credit for it, but I actually put together that "New England the Beautiful" video. I made it about 3 years ago when I started feeling homesick out here in LA. Small world, huh?

But I should point out that the photos in the montage are not photos that I took myself. I'm not *that* good.

However, I did come up with an idea of how I can keep posting in this thread while I'm here in LA. I'm going to go through my archives and dig up photos for every town in NH that I have, in alphabetical order. I'll post photos for the towns starting with the same letter in each post, starting with A.

I've probably posted a lot of these photos before, but I think it'll be fun (and potentially useful) to categorize them by town.

Andover

Ashland

Interesting note - the "cold season of 1816" referred to in that Ashland tombstone was the infamous "Year Without a Summer" caused by the eruption of Mt. Tambora in Indonesia.

Verseau, I love your idea of posting NH pics, A-Z. Thanks for the amazing photos and the link about the volcanic winter. Fascinating!

JFR, I'm not suprised you're still thinking about the show! Nothing like attending a live performance! Thanks for sharing the fun

Thanks for the compliments on my photos. I'll continue with towns starting with B, although I'm going to skip Bristol because I've already posted tons of photos of my town in here.

This is one of my favorite thread too. I also took something from another forum. I dont know if any of you have seen this video before, but it is just gorgeous. It is a video of all of NE. I borrowed it from the CT photo thread...Sky, I hope that is ok.

Stealing my link from the CT forum hmmm....? lol! (just kidding around of course).

I love that video - so peaceful and beautiful as well as the music put to it.
