your welcome! they are all rescue horses. the last one (gray) is 32 years old....

The warmblood (draft horse) was saved from certain death when he was 3. He had a broken rear leg. He is 7 now. His leg has broken twice since. He is an expensive lawn ornament.

I love them all dearly and would take more if I could.

Save the horses! tell your congress people to vote NO for HR 503/S 311!!!!

Much appreciated. It's a fairly busy "road" for where I live (lots of bikers enjoying the scenery during summer) but actually a lot more quiet than Orange County!

And fortunately, I've got a nice tree buffer all around the property to dampen the noise. I don't have any neighbors behind me (yet--but that will change) and my property extends about 75 feet beyond the treeline. Lots of critters in those woods (turkeys, deer, and the occasional bear/moose).

Yes, I'd say a lot different than OC! Or even Ventura County. Even with having neighbors behind you someday, it won't be like here...where you look out your bedroom window directly into your neighbors bedroom! At least the newer houses are that way.

That's wonderful having all those critters to see in your yard.

Great pictures everyone!

Buck - Loved the snowman Your horses are beautiful.

Sparky - Our house is like yours - we have neighbors in the front and on one side, the back is all trees with lots of critters in them We're the last house on a dead end, so the side will never have neighbors and the wooded area is in an area that cannot be developed, so we'll get to keep the trees and critters for as long as we're here....
