Verseau,
Thank you Thank you Thank you for the gorgeous pictures! I got back home yesterday from being holed up in a safe place hiding from hurricane Gustav and truly enjoyed each and every one of your beautiful pics! I had gotten into the habit of looking at the pic thread each night before bed and found that I'd usually have very pleasant dreams about something in one of the pics, but after not having electricity for a week, I wasn't able to see them and was starting to dream of things like oppressive humid heat (think the swamp thing scenes) and giant mosquitoes that were attracted to the 'scent' we were all wearing after having minimal showers and lots of sweat. I actually even heard that 'bzzzzzzzzz' you get in your ears right after you turn out the light, just knowing they were waiting to attack me! It was horrific!!!! Anyway, I just drooled over your pics last night and had the most wonderful, COLD, snowy dream last night. It was just delightful! So, see, you don't even know me and you've made a huge difference in my life. I can sleep in peace again at night and it also makes me realize that the time we still have to put in here will be worth every leaf turning, every snowflake, every smell of fresh in the air that we will get to enjoy once we do retire. BUT, you've also confused me. I had my mind set on moving into Coos County, up somewhere like Colebrook or around that area, and now, seeing all these towns by name, I'm all up in the air again! Maybe I'll just have to pick 10 (or 40) and go to each one before I decide for sure.... Please keep on with the pictures, though. You have no idea how much they inspire me to keep on keeping on when I can't be there!

Dancing here over the Portsmouth pics
Wow wow wow, the pictures of Downtown, Prescott Park and the gardens, of Strawberry bank, and even the cemetery around the corner - absolutely gorgeous and I can see each and every thing I so miss - just like I remember walking those streets myself. The gardens in Prescott Park is where my cousin got married - beautiful setting huh?
Thanks for these and all the other pictures as well. Teaches us "natives" about towns we probably never knew existed or never visited at least. Thanks for the geography lessons every day

Whale Watching, Rye NH
Great day with my girlfriend...we saw many whales, including the Fin whale. Apparently, they are normally solitary, but we saw 7 swimming together! The marine biologist on board was lovin life, thats for sure..
Now, the whales!
Other pics
This guy was drunk, and was scared that the whales would crash into the boat...
Isle of Shoals
Good times, great day, and we finished off with a trip up to York Maine, and I think I'll post a few pics of those on the Maine picture thread, if there is one.
