Went up to our camp in Stratford Tuesday.
Got a few decent pictures to share.
A goat out in Stratford hollow.
A barn in the hollow,
Stratford bog brook,
The Connecticut river from the bridge between Maidstone VT & Stratford NH.
The boys & our dog down the hill.

Judging by the goat-sized hole near the door.. I'd say that's the goat's house (the door being there for human caretakers to get in and clean). Definately fancy! nice porch to keep out of the snow and still get some sun and fresh air.
DH had a goat growing up in Delaware: she insisted on having 1 side open and routinely kicked down any wall that was placed on that side.

I really like the Profile Falls pics! And the little church....very pretty!
There is still beauty all round us in the winter - you just need to look a little bit. : )

Nice contrast Verseau, I especially like the one(s) with the red berries in the foreground. Does Profile Falls freeze over in the winter? A couple of years ago I was in Quebec during the winter and saw the most incredible frozen waterfalls I've ever seen! These falls look quite a bit smaller, but would be a very interesting thing to see frozen. Thanks for sharing!!

Glad you guys enjoyed the waterfall shots
Valerie, I'm not sure if it ever completely freezes -- I don't think I've ever seen it in midwinter. But maybe I'll check in a couple weeks to see. You can see that part of the falls (on the far right side) is already frozen.

Great photographs, Verseau. Thanks for sharing them with us. And, I wouldn't want to be around if it got cold enough to freeze that running water!!!
