nice pics of the trains - I recognize Main St in Wolfeboro - I have to sit in traffic generally 20 minutes just to get through the space in the picture during summer months - there are no other roads through town and there is never a place to park - I go down to the docks really early (between 5 and 6 AM) to get some good shots of the lake
thanks for posting them

Here's our driveway as of yesterday - if we get any more snow, I don't know where we'll put it! The car seems "dwarfed" by the snow banks!
This is the bluest sky I've ever seen, even though the picture doesn't completely capture it!

Wolfeboro is located to the east of Lake Winnipesaukee. It can get crowded in the summer. Most of the jobs in the Lakes Region are in Laconia, which is the biggest town in the area. Real estate prices can be quite expensive for homes on top of the lake, but more affordable away from it. Also, a lot of people from other areas own second homes or "summer homes" in that particular region.

Wolfeboro has a regional high school and is home to Brewster Academy, a well known private school. Mitt Romney has 5 homes side by side on the lake in Wolfeboro and lays claim to the water for 300 feet out in front of the homes. No boating or canoes allowed in front of his houses.
Wolfeboro has it's own electric company so they may have lower rates than other towns. They also have low taxes compared to surrounding towns. New homes are almost non-existent. They have city water and private septic for the most part.
It's a small town where the year round residents all know each other, but in summer, it balloons in size.
