Great pictures!! I love it up here in the fall.
Monday is our 7th wedding anniversary, that's how much I love October!
The first photo was taken this summer at a wedding we attended in Salem, NH. The second photo is of our Renaissance theme wedding 10/26/02.
We have lost so much weight! Just looking at these pictures makes me cringe because we each lost 40 lbs. this summer.
I haven't extracted our Autumn pictures yet from the camera, I'll post some this weekend.
Take care everyone, happy fall!
Kat

Can someone please tell me what the style of this house is called?? (posted on page 155 by Verseau)
Thank you all for posting all of these photos! A lot of them are what swayed us to choose New Hampshire for our next move. I didn't realize how much the state had to offer!

Hi NEOhioBound,
That's a typical example of New England colonial architecture. People usually just call those houses "colonials," but they are distinct from other colonial styles like capes and saltboxes.
That particular example is an authentic colonial, probably built sometime between 1750 and 1820. But the architectural style has never really gone out of fashion, so you'll see lots of modern colonials as well (although many of the modern imitations have decorative shutters.)

Some pictures from the White Mountain area from last week. Stayed in North Conway and drove all over there.
