ok - as I was saying before, Wolfeboro is very touristy and a lot of fun if you like that sort of thing - every summer, down on the docks, they have antique car shows that include some really hot cars from the 50's and the 60's....but a lot of towns do that....
Wolfeboro, just to be different, has an antique boat show....
in the background, you can see the gazebo - very often, there is a band playing there

I took these photos, so there is no worry suzet..LOL
this is the gorgeous Mt. Washington boat. she travels all around Lake Winnipesaukee. In the old days (chuckle), people would get off at the Wolfeboro pier for ice cream from Bailey's...but they are gone now.

and right behind the gazebo on the docks, as you go up the hill, there is a beautiful bronze statue to remind us of days gone past....

What great pics Kelleybell and Buck . Kelley, you have a great looking family, you look so happy. I cant wait to build a snowman. The last one I got to make was about 19 years ago . That was the last time it snowed here.
Buck, I love boat pics . I am scared of the water, but love looking at boats and the water..go figure..lol. I am not worried about the pics you guys put up. Everyone here on the NH site is very good at honoring the rules. That is one of the reasons I am happy to be a Mod for this site. You guys are boring here compared to some of the other threads . And I mean that in the most loving, gracious way .

Thanks DTD and Suzet. We stayed in Loudon, just outside of Concord. We also went tubing on Gunstock. That was tons of fun!

I'd like to see some more of those pictures, buck. I love classic wooden boats! I will have to check out that antique boat show in Wolfeboro.

Thanks, buck naked. Greetings to NH!
Come out and visit AZ -- it's very different from NH! But if you want "warm" don't come to Phoenix in the summer! If you come in the summer, head up north (Sedona, Flagstaff, Payson, etc.) It's a very different climate up there.
