Great pictures, SkiChick! Are the church doors to the church on the main street of Bethlehem? If it is that church it's either for sale or was sold recently. It's a beautiful building!
Don't you love those "frost heaves" signs? I get a kick out of the "moose crossing" ones as well - we can always tell when we're getting into NY or close to it - the "moose crossing" signs are replaced by "deer crossing" ones <g>

Yes, the church is on Main St. ... there were actually two very beautiful old churches on Main St., but this one was more interesting to photograph. Both of them had snow covered front entrances as if neither of them were in use. Unless there is some kind of side door that gets used. The moose crossing signs were a great addition to the travels and luckly, the only moose that crossed our path was the silhouette on the sign ... And you know you are in the Adirondack's when you see a sign that says "deer crossing next 17 miles".

Thanks for sharing SkiChick! Love the mountains, but even more I enjoyed the pics of all those working dogs! Any/all of them yours?? I think my favorite is the one of the husky turning around looking back at the photog (you?) as if to say "HEY what's the hold up! Let's get this sled moving!" Again, thanks for sharing!!

Haha, I am fast . I bet that Church is goregous in person.
I would love to go dog sledding one time. It always looks like fun when I see it on tv. Those dogs are so beautiful. My daughter is trying to talk me into getting her a husky when we move .
Thanks again Skichick for sharing .
