I am glad you liked them Valerie. The Ventura beach is really pretty. That is the place when I can get there, that I love to just sit and chill. One time I was there and people were getting married on the beach. So I sat there and watched. Ventura is about 40 mins from Santa Clarita. It is a really pretty drive on highway 126. There are all these orange trees and fruit stands, its really nice. Lots of farming going on. Yeah beach season is pretty much all year here. There are a few months were it gets kind of "cold" to us So Calis', but that is when I really love to go. As much as I do have a fear of water, there is something about the beach that is theraputic for the soul.

Lisa and Country, I am glad you enjoyed the pics as well. I bet you have been to Ventura Beach a few times Lisa.

Plains, thank you for posting your pics. It is so hot here today, the snow looked refreshing and cool to me.

doncapecod, your daughters farm is beautiful.

Everyone have a great weekend

I find the beach to be one of the most relaxing places, especially in the off season, when I can bring the dog and let him off-leash, watch the horses, etc. THAT season is just about over! Gee, I guess though, in SoCal, there IS no off-season for the beach

I finally got a photobucket account just to post pictures on the NH forum
Those pictures are a tad blurry, but not bad considering I took all of them on my phone.

Plains, you took them from your cellphone? I think they look great. The last one might of been slightly blurry, but you can totally make out what it is a picture of. My cellphone doesnt take pics half as good as yours does. I am glad you got an account on photobucket. Post as many pics as you want. We all love to look at them.

I agree, Suzet. It was 95 degrees here the other day, and all these pictures of NH are so refreshing! I can't wait to get back to NH!

Thanks for all the great pictures, everyone!!

You can change it in your profile.

At the top of the page, click on "My Settings." Then on the left side of the page, click on "Edit Profile." There is a "Custom User Title" section where you can enter the text you want.

NH2NCMom, JMX is correct on how to change it, but you need more posts... 30 days + 50 reps + 200 total posts...start posting more, LOL. http://www.city-data.com/forum/faq/1...er-titles.html

Plains10, Great photos for a cell phone! Now that you have a photobucket account, please share as many photos of New England as you want.

doncapecod, Beautiful farm & thanks for sharing!

Suzette, Great photos of the Pier & the Harbor Ventura is a nice place to go & most of the year it's not that busy for a beach city. Here's a comparison of East Coast & West Coast beaches...

Thanks, Boo. I didn't know there were all those restrictions. I guess I waited for a LONG time before setting mine for the first time. LOL!
