NH2NC, you've got the right idea, but I think it's been awhile since you've been to Maine--a couple of years ago, they renumbered all of the exits! We've got lots of family in Maine, and previous Exit 3 (Biddeford) is now Exit 32! The easiest way to get from points south to Nubble Light is 95 to Exit 7 (for perspective, exit 7 used to be Scarborough/OOB) which is Route 1 to Route 1A. You'll see signs all over the place for Nubble Point/Nubble Light.
Since you're in the area, you'll want to just follow Rte 1 a little further and visit Bald Head Cliff and Ogunquit. If you were coming in summertime, I'd never recommend that you go (parking fills up early!) but in October, it'll be perfect! You can visit Perkin's Cove (cute little shops!) and then stroll The Marginal Way, a paved walkway with lots of benches and great views of the cliffs and the ocean. It's one of the most beautiful spots on the seacoast--and worth the time visit!

That's right I remember they renumbered them right about the time I left - God it's going to take me awhile to adjust - I might actually get lost when I return LOL. Thanks for the suggestions - hope I remember when I actually start planning the trip. Still a little early for me to plan the actual "play" time

My friends and I hiked Stinson Mtn. in Rumney on Thursday, so I thought I'd share some photos from the hike. The view from the top is really great.

Yeah, I think it was around 82-85 degrees, but fortunately we were hiking in the shade and it wasn't as humid as it could've been. Definitely worked up a sweat though!

Posting pictures
Hi: I'm a newbie on this forum having moved to New London from Cape Cod a short time ago. I'm also a beginning photographer and a Porsche fanatic so I belong to several Porsche and Photo Forums. One of my favorites is The Radiant Vista (It's free and photos are analyzed and photoshop tips are given almost every day.)
The pictures on this forum are beautiful and I'd like to make a suggestion. In one of the other forums I belong to it's "required" that whatever you have to say in your comments, you MUST post another picture. That way, there is a pic with every post in that forum.
Just a thought...Hope I haven't intruded or upset anyone with this suggestion or the reference to radiantvista. It wasn't a commercial...I'm just a member, and again, it's free with many PS tutorials.
Thanks for listening.
My contribution...my Porsche near the summit of Mt. Washington , and one other I took recently
