Awwwww.....That's what our dog does with my husband - he takes her on errands or whatever and she sits either like that or with one paw on his shoulder!

JFR, Tigger is a perfect name for your new baby. He is just precious!!!
Ken E, your dog is adorable. I truly believe that the rescued animals make the best pets. They know they have been saved and show their graditude everyday.

Friday night my daughters long anticipation of the fourth and final book in a series came out. We were at Borders Book Store, with half of the teen-age, young adult population of our town . My god, I was having the worst hot flashes ever!! There were people everywhere. Anyway, the book series is from Stephenie Meyer. There is Twilight, Eclipse, New Moon and now Breaking Dawn. It is about a girl who falls in love with a Vampire, and her best friend is a werewolf . But she loves him too. Hahaha, typical teen love story. Anyway, the kids are crazy over this series. My God. So Heather wanted to have a copy of the 4th book and go to the book party. Just what I wanted to do . LOL. I hate crowds!! Especially ones that are all crazy for Vampires and Werewolves, LOL. We had to sit through trivia questions and kids fighting back and fourth about who "Bella" the love interest should end up with, the Vampire or the Wolf. Haha, it was crazy. Heather won a pin, as she answered one of the trivia questions right. Then she got her bracelet with a number on it. She was number 30 to get the book. They didnt go on sale until midnight. So we were there for 3 hours. Those of us who dont do too well in crowds know how I felt . LOL, Dare and Lisa. Well anyway, I took a few pics and wanted to share them with you guys. I also took a short video of the countdown to midnight. I hope the video comes out ok. I have never posted a video before. Here goes .
The first one is Heather posing by the display. 2nd one is Heather, April and Rick. 3rd one is Heather and April in the trivia game. 4th one is Heathers' button she won. 5th one is Heather buying her book. 6th one is my little angel with her book, she was so happy .
Ok I cant get the video to upload. I will have one of my girls help me with it later today.

ooooh, i hate crowded events like that but since it's over you can think of it as another accomplishment-look at how happy your daughter is in the photos, she's got such a big happy smile!! Good for you for braving the crowd. Now do something nice for yourself too

I love the photos of all the pets. And I'm glad you enjoyed my pictures from the seacoast.
Yesterday my mother and I hiked Red Hill in Moultonborough. The weather wasn't great, as there were thunderstorms in the distance, but the view from the fire tower on top was still incredible. You can see so much of the Lakes Region and the White Mountains from up there.
And, of course, I have photos:
(South) Zoomed in on Center Harbor on Lake Winnipesaukee (Lake Kanasatka is in the foreground, Meredith Bay in the background):
(WSW) Looking across Squam Lake towards Holderness, Little Squam, the Bridgewater hills, and Mt. Cardigan in the distance:
(ESE) The Ossipee Mountains on the left with Moultonborough Bay on the right:
(North) Looking across Sandwich with the White Mountains in the background (Sandwich Mtn., Mt. Israel, Flat Mtn., Mt. Whiteface, Mt. Passaconaway... if I'm not mistaken):
(NE) A cloudy Mt. Chocorua in the distance:
(NNE) A closer view of Center Sandwich with Whiteface, Passaconaway, and Paugus in the background:
(SSE) Looking over Winnipesaukee:
(WNW) Another view of Squam with the Rattlesnakes in front of Mt. Webster, Morgan, Percival, Squam, and Doublehead:
A view to the southwest (Center Harbor on the left side; Squam on the right... I can't be bothered to figure out all the hills in the background ):

Gorgeous and cute
JFR - yes I saw the pic of your newest addition - cute as a button. Sorry couldn't post before today - way too busy here.
Verseau - absolutely gorgeous, and since my entire family is in the Seacoast area - I love seeing photos of there and from the state of NH.
Thanks for sharing with us.
Oh and Suzet - way to go - each step you take you have to be so proud of yourself.

Thank you! I'm still in college so I live with my parents when I'm not at school, but unfortunately they're planning on selling our house for financial reasons. I think the thing I'll miss the most is that view.
