Post College/Small Town

Hello, I am currently looking for a small town close to a major college. I really like small towns that are welcoming and very social. I am a Californian but I'm looking for a change of scenery.

Any and all help would be appreciated and I thank you in advanced!!

Henniker is the home of New England College - a small upscale college with a junior year at their sister school in England.

Henniker is a beautiful typical college town with a lot of activities geared towards the students. It is also the home of Pat's Peak, a local ski area that's a great hangout with night skiing and a lot of fun.

Not too far away is New London, home of Colby Sawyer, another exclusive high end college located in a typical NH small town. They also used to have a ski area nearby but it has been snatched up and developed into high end homes.

Fayetteville, Arkansas is a cool town in the Ozark Mountains. The bohemian town of Eureka Springs is awesome.

Hanover sounds like what you are looking for. Hanover is a small town and is home to Dartmouth College. There are some nice, smaller outlying communities such as Lyme, Orford, and Norwich & Thetford, VT.

You might also want to check out Keene. It's a great small town with Keene State College. It has a great education program! Best of luck!
