Wow you guys are getting a good amount of snow. I am so jealous. I like danielle am sitting here wearing a tank top, and sweat pants (not shorts) with the window open, but hey we got clouds!!! Haha. I hope you all are able to enjoy the snow and stay safe with the power on. I heard on the news that there are 71,000 in PA without power. Thats got to be tough.
never be jealous that someone is digging out early in the morning but be jealous of looking out of your window and seeng the snow pure and white with no sand and the christmas lights are shining
I'm in florida and here it's white with frost a little and geting worse
How's are you doing with the snow? Surviving it. Will spring get here soon?
I hope spring gets here soon. Remember that is still two seasons away as we are still in fall . Winter is not even here yet although the snow is telling us a much different story
got caught in the worst of the storm with the green circle drivers. (skier talk - haha)
I'm going to remember that one ... LOL ... if I was in a library, they probably would have asked me to leave. That along with a really funny ski related e-mail that I just read prior to this. Almost fell out of my chair!!!
I had gotten use to Decembers in New England being more October-like. This is more old-style New England. The snow is fine, but it makes me yearn for that second home in the pacific northwest where I can ski without dealing with Arctic breezes that help form icicles on the tip of my nose. 30-35 degrees is fine. Single digit temps and ice every where simply put, stinks.
SNOW is a four letter word. ICE is a three letter word. I shout SNOW at the PC when it glitches and ICE at other drivers.
What do you mean winter is not here yet? SNOW! SNOW! SNOW!
FWIW - Raton, New Mexico will get into the low 50's today and it is in the mountains! Guess why I want to retire there and not here (besides housing costs).
We love it here and love the snow. It's a welcome change from life in SCV.
If you don't mind the snow and cold weather, and prefer not to expose yourself to gang nastiness, etc. you will be much happier here!
If I've managed to attach the picture I'm trying to attach, you'll see our snowy street *before* last weekend's snow.

Hey lisa, I love the picture. We sure dont get views like that out here in SCV. It sounds like your happy in NH, which along with a long list of other things, tells me that moving out there will be just what my family needs. Happy Holidays. Enjoy your snowy Christmas.
I sure miss all that snow in New Hampshire. I used to live in Manchester about 6 years ago and worked in Dedham, MA (Route #128 - YUCK). Even though it was beautiful, I did not like that drive from Route #128 to I-93 as it could take up to 3 hours to get home especially when there were accidents or on Friday evenings when people from Massachusetts were heading to NH to sky. Believe it or not, not being around that much snow anymore makes me miss it that much more. I will take the snow anyday over the ICE we seem to get here in Oklahoma. This last Ice Storm here in Oklahoma was the worst in the state's history. So enjoy the snow NH ...
