Anybody else receive calls from (603) 471-3163? Automated call, at start claims to be a poll conducted by "CCL research", seems to be an illegal (under RSA 664-16-a) push poll in support of Lee Nyquist?
Starts out as your your standard poll, prompts for touch-tone. Answered as independent/undecided, and it launched into a series of statements in favor of Lee Nyquist and negative statements about Sanborn, asking for each if the statement was convincing; ended by asking if after the statements that I might change my vote?
Pretty standard push polling:

(c) Conducting such calling in a manner which is likely to be construed by the voter to be a survey or poll to gather statistical data for entities or organizations which are acting independent of any particular political party, candidate, or interest group.
At the end of the call, a recording announces this "poll" is funded by New Hampshire Democratic Caucus and gives a 202 phone number. At no time was the call identified as being in support of any candidate.
I never answer calls from numbers I don't recognize ... actually, I don't even HEAR them as the default ringtone on my iPhone is silent. (Friends and family members have their own ringtones, so I don't miss THOSE calls!)
I hate political calls almost as much as I hate telemarketing calls ... it still annoys me that politicians exempted themselves from having to abide by the do-not-call list.
They're getting trickier. My phone provider has a setting to drop 'blocked' calls, but a few months ago the pollers started to use numbers with 603 area codes, or even numbers in the same prefix (town) as the called number. Since I am waiting for a followup from a contractor with an esstimate for some work I need to finish before winter, I can't just ignore every local call from an unknown number...
Worse than political calls, are illegal political calls. Next time I get one of these computer calls, I'll record the whole thing for evidence.
If you receive a call from this number, please record it, and contact the Attorney General's Office by phone or e-mail to discuss a complaint. You can discuss your experience before formally filing a complaint form (Federal law requires that Title III complaints be submitted in writing)
Formal complaints are the only way to get these people to stop.

Post a recording along with the exact time of day and a picture of the Caller-ID record (on Youtube or as an MP3 file), and I'll donate a hundred bucks in the name of 'baldy672' to the Free State Project or to Andy Sanborn's campaign.
I received a push poll from the Ginta campaign last evening. The questions portrayed Ginta as the best thing since sliced bread (and just about as exciting) and Carol Shay-Porter as the devil incarnate. As I was watching a Castle rerun at the time I played with the pollster. At least the Ginta campaign announced they were sponsoring the advertisement.
IMHO Mr. Ginta is a waste of time and space that worked entirely for the very rich and powerful in Washington and not for the new Hampshire voters that paid his salary. Ms. Shay Porter is the exact opposite and has been successful in bringing jobs and income to the State of New Hampshire. So if you support the Big Oil and bigger Pharma vote to Ginta. If not, vote for Mrs. Shay Porter.
