Uh, not quite. I received a welcome card signed from all of my co workers in my new branch mailed before I started. Roses were delivered to both of us in orientation for us, white roses. Our assistant branch managers took us out to Meme's for lunch, complete with chocolate desert.... Their theme is, "we go above and beyond starting with our own, then we take it to that level with our customers." I could not believe what I was seeing. Such genuine nice people. If someone is sick, they all do meals on wheels to help them out, and their volunteer hours for community service is unlike any bank I've ever seen.

I feel like I've stepped in the twilight zone. Its easy to get caught up in the magic of NH, but its just a thrill to actually be a part of the magic, and to give as much back to others as you possibly can. Out of all the forums and cities I've visited, this forum is the warmest, sweetest, and most helpful with your questions, that I've experienced. That is saying something about their home state, their pride, and their giving nature.
.

Magic is right! Is it any wonder why visitors want to stay there? We cherish our memories of NH and look back at all our photos taken there and simply smile.

Wow Kat, what a great story. I cant even imagine anyone doing that here where I live. Everyone is so wrapped up in their own drama. I am very happy for you that you are in such a wonderful place. I cant wait to call all of you my neighbors. I really want to experience some of that small town kindness and charm.

Kat I just love it when you post something like this. I still remember that you were one of the first people that I talked to when I joined this board, and you were so unhappy where you were at that time. I'm so glad that you found your way home, and that everything has fallen right into place for you all. I admit I was worried about how things would work out when I read that you had sold everything and were trekking across the country. But your positive spirit has proven strong, and you done good, girl!!!
