I think homeschooling is a great thing for parents that want to and are able to do it. But for the vast majority of parents, it's not in the cards. Nor should we want it. You think our kids are in tough shape now? I fear what some of our kids would end up like if left to ignorant, slacker parents who can barely take care of themselves.

How about a team approach where public schools do their part and parents do their part? Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. This ain't Little House on the Prairie, it's the 21st Century and the education our kids need cannot be provided by many if not most parents.

I like your pictures and restaurant reviews much better than your conspiracy politics
it's the 21st and people are doing it.. go figure huh? Your politics paint us as victims who can't..which of course leads to even more government control

Not about politics. Should not be about politics.

The people that homeschool do it voluntarily because they are prepared and able to do it and are dedicated to that committment. You want to make the leap and say that every family in the country should now homeschool? I'm all for people that do, and glad we have the choice to do it, but to say that we should abandon the public school system and have everyone home school would take the country back 300 years and would not be a net benefit to the children of our country.

The people that home school do it because they are tired of the utter failure of the public school system, a system that takes money and gives nothing in return but excuses for why they need even more money while turning out imbeciles that cannot add, cannot read, cannot spell, cannot grasp basic comprehension ( such as those arguing that Common core is a good thing for example ) All of which guarantees more voters who choose by emotion rather than logic, thereby ensuring more big government and less results...Oh and I corrected a couple of your words for you..no need to say thanks
