Where to look really depends on what you are looking for in an area. I would start with where your jobs will be and go from there. Property taxes are high in NH in general. If you are homeschooling, the bigger homeschool groups are in the southern part of the state, but there are groups state-wide.

My biggest concern with home schooling is college prep. We are still in elementary and middle school right now. I want to be near a decent H.S. in order to prepare my kids for the majors they are interested in. While I do not mind continuing, I want to make sure they are properly prepared and have great college options. An opportunity for a scholarship wouldn't be bad either.

Some districts (I believe, again you have to check out the laws) may allow your children to take some classes there.

We also have an online option for classes a friend told me about called vlacs. You can google it. I am not sure if we can post external links here so I will just post the name and leave it at that.
