Help-Blonde moment (area, place, top)

Ok so I just gave some of my forum friends rep points. How come it does not have a place for a comment? I notice in the area where all of you have given me rep points some of you write nice comments. How do I do that? This is driving me crazy

Never mind- I figured it out. Geez. I have done it before. What a day. Is it over yet?

When you click on the icon to give a positive rep that little box comes up where you check either approve or disapprove. If you look at the very bottom of that box you'll see a short blank box where you can type in a comment that only the person who is recieving the rep can see.

Well maybe you asked the question for someone else who didn't know how to leave a comment.

ok, that would be me. I've wondered how it works. but.. when I've given rep points, clicking on the little + at the bottom, no othe rbox has ever come up asking for positive or negative and giving a space for a comment (wondered how that troll was able to give me a negative - just because they didn't agree with an opinion on a town?! please.). I just click on it, and not much else happens except a page refresh and I think a comment that I gave a rep point.

why don't I get the extra bits?

That's the quick way to give a positive rep.

If you go to the top right of the post, you'll see something that looks like 2 plates balancing, (it's the middle icon) click that and you will be able to choose approve or disapprove and put in a remark.

Also if you get a negative remark for absolutely no reason, you can ask a moderator to look at it and adjust it. I've had that happen to me a few times where just because someone didn't agree with me, i got negatives.

Oh!! lol, you know, I never even noticed those. Thanks! I tried it out on you, it works! gee, nice. (and I'm not even blonde! I guess all my grey hair is getting to me)

I know I could ask a mod to look at the negative, but I hadn't even noticed it until someone else (you?) had commented, then I found where all the rep points are stored and saw I had gotten one - over a month ago!! I think it might be a little late to be whining about it much now
