I recently bought a house in Hampton. My old Nokia flip phone (T-Mobile) seems to work fine in the house, as does the painter's T-Mobile iPhone. The former owner had Verizon, also the R.E. agent who made several calls from the house to me. Heck, a friend has an AT&T iPhone & it worked fine in the house.

Reason I ask, I'm planning to get an ipad with 4G & want to be able to use it in the house (I don't have cable or internet service installed yet). From the experiences I related above, maybe I could just pick either Verizon, or T-Mobile & be OK with either?

Oh yes, I have looked at the Verizon & T-Mobile coverage maps FWIW. Just wanted to get some feedback from local residents, TIA.

P.S. Is anyone familar with the town water supply in Hampton? Is it OK to drink? I thought it looked a little "brownish" coming out of the tap once, but maybe I just have new house jitters.
