Those people who are with things like the Free State Project really peeve me, they move here from other states just to aggrivate the rest of us it seems. Constantly preaching about paying taxes is unconstitutional and setting up "peaceful" protests infront of posts offices and tax places.. Refusing to carry a license and then reisting arrest peacfully, making the officers pick them up cause they refuse to walk and then posting videos online about police abuse and what not.. There are specific people like Lauren Canario I think her name is here in Keene that just won't shut up about it to the point where you want her arrested just so she'll stop preaching about it! They give people who move into the state a bad name.. I can see why locals would be afraid of outsiders changing NH.. Its peopl like her that come in and really are just out to change it!

Default Nh

One thing I hate about NH is NH drivers who speed down 93 at 100Mph cutting you off, because they're running late for work in boston and they live over 2 hour drive away..my question is why? Unless the job pays you over $100K a year. Why would you do that?

NH drivers are the worst!!!

The live free or die attitude, NHites think they are the best people on the planet and that they are entitled to everything they want in the world.

And there's something wrong with being a tree hugger and caring about our planet?

its the only planet we have...
wake up people we're destroying it.

And why can't you be a socialist--moderate liberal..?

I mean it sure beats being a conservative uncaring conservative..right wing republican.

We need to realize global warming even tho its half natural cycle and half our creation, we still need to take care of our planet and
stop what we are doing and go green.

4. People who don't understand the basic tenets of property law that one's enjoyment of the highest and best use of their property should not adversely affect the highest and best use of other's property.
5. The fact that Walmart is killing local businesses and force-feeding rural America with a bunch of dangerous Chinese junk.
6. Mother's Day to Father's Day.

9. When you forget something important on your shopping list.
10. Having to have a land line because there is no cell phone coverage anywhere close (Can you hear me now? NO I CAN'T!).
Great points and how could I forget the disastrous cell phone coverage? And private property rights have gone down the toilet faster than any of our consitutional guarantees. I also second the issue with political signs along the roadside. Amen primary season is history for years. Child's play as far as I'm concerned. Me thinks too many take a bit too much umbrage on who will be our next president without focusing on local candidates whose philosophies will greater impact NH residents day-in and day-out. Standing on a street corner with a political sign is nothing but "pimping" your candidate and does nothing constructive to influence myself or anyone I'm aware of- and for god's sakes, placing eight John McCain signs in a row up a 101 entry ramp isn't going to sway my vote after the 7th sighting! Time spent no more constructively than rehashing to your co-workers the previous night what occured on "American Idol".

Problem is, I hear this every where. Every place I've ever been is home to the worst drivers. Only in the cases of New Jersey and Rhode Island would I maybe tend to believe it. Every place has the worst taxes and every place has the worst or most unpredictable weather. In fact as the most overstated phrasing goes... "If you don't like the weather today here in__________, just wait til tomorrow." UGGH.

You'll find most of those folks are former Mass residents who moved to this fair state in order to escape the socialism of Mass, little realizing they're part of the problem as well.

Ya missed my point. SOME people just go ahead and assume that I must be those things because I came from SoCal. SOME people then go on to assume that you will force your socio political ways on the indigenous population.

Oh, and yeah - ALOT of jobs in Boston pay WELL over $100K.

Every State on this board has a "10 things I hate about" question--except NH. All you hear on this board is how wonderful NH is to the point that it started to seem a little... uh...unrealistic. Granted NH is a great State with many unique properties to it, but to be 100% fantastic is, again, not real. So, I asked.
Why let people come all the way up there to move--only to have them get disappointed and move again?
However, I stand by the NH is a wonderful State compared to most by far. Lucky dogs, you.
