Whew! LACarole - I'm so glad things have worked out so well. I can imagine how frustrated and anxious you'd be having to leave town and leave the dogs behind as well as your hubby, and you don't have to worry about issues with DD either. Here's hoping everything comes out fine and you can get back home and back to normal (whatever that is) soon!

I'm so glad you'll all be able to stay together - now stay safe! Geee....I wonder if all of us up north stood outside at the same time, faced your area, took a deep breath and blew, if we'd have enough collective....uh....hot air....uh.....to blow Gustav away from you!

Happy Labor Day weekend, all...LTNS to the regulars!
No serious plans here aside from getting the new kitten to stop chewing on my toes as I type this and grill up many animals and maybe a veggie or two this weekend.
It's nice not having to go anywhere and deal with the Spaulding/I-95 madhouse. I don't even want to imagine how bad those roads and I-93/101 will be this weekend.

As someone who is missing NH terribly I'd love to be dealing with the Spaulding right now - cuz that means I'm probably in my hometown or pretty darn close! (see always a positive LOL)
Good morning all and Happy Labor Day weekend - back to work I go just had to drop in and say hi to my fave people!

Well, lemme tell ya--you wouldn't be missing it nearly as much if you saw all the construction they're doing from the Rochester tool booth up to about Exit 13 (Kohl's came in here last year). They're widening the road/bridges to a four-lane all the way up to Exit 16 (my exit), and getting through town right now is a real PITA on afternoons, and I work in Seabrook--so you've got the bottleneck going over the bridge, and another one as soon as you leave the Rochester tolls. Route 125 isn't much better since they're doing major work on that as well. <sigh>
