boo...thank you for letting me know what is going on.
I haven't been able to do much on here other than post good morning and good night. I had no idea what was going on. I apologize for posting anything I wasn't suppose to...in an off topic thread.

I know I am very new to the NH forum, but I found such a great bunch of people here and I love being apart of this happy family. Thank you all for being so welcoming and so very kind and helpful!!!!
If my opinion counts I would like to say that I think a NH chat/subforum group is a very good idea.

Like boo said...I along with country and boo do frequent the comunity chat forum. No matter what the outcome here, please consider coming to visit happy hour, mindless, cd villiage and the other threads there. They are also a very great group of people and would be thrilled to have you all and you wit, humor, kindness etc. be apart of that area.

Default LACarol

I know this is going to get buried in here - but has anyone heard from her? Last we knew, she was moving to a safer place....I hope she and her family are okay!

Smile I'm back!!

Hey everyone! I think I missed some important stuff, but I'll catch up soon! I'm not sure if I am allowed to post this here or not, but....... I am on DH's computer in his office, so I have to be quick. We are still staying at DH work. No electricity at home, or phone, etc. Not too much damage, though, just minor roof damage, lost fence, branches all over yard, LOTS of rotten and smelly food, and stuff like that. But I am definitely NOT complaining, because lots of people have lots worse. We have an estimate of 3 weeks from our electric company to have power back, if Ike doesn't come this way. Luckily, the job is taking very good care of us with a room and meals. Now, if I could just do laundry, I'd be great! (Never thought I'd hear myself say that!!) I'll check in again in a few days. Weeks like this last one really make me want to be in NH!! I just looked at Verseau's pics from the last few days and now will have something pleasant to dream about - last night it was giant mosquitoes and living in a tent. I miss y'all and can't wait to find out what's been going on while I've been gone!!
