Hi everyone.

Today is my first day of fasting. I get to drink my fasting juice and 4 times a day I get this little tablet that is flavored like vanilla and 2 almonds. Surprisingly I am not really hungry. I feel a bit dizzy, but that is from the toxins coming out of my system. I am drinking water like crazy, and then of course going to the bathroom every 5 mins. I have to fast tomorrow too. I really hope this helps with the anxiety, I am going in this with postive thoughts. But boy I sure need to stay away from the food threads on here. The lobster roll sure sounds wonderful.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Monday.

Talking Hello Suzette!! GOOD LUCK!!! :0) :0)

HANG IN THERE SUZETTE!!!

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THE FOOD THREADS!!

I think that I have gained a few pounds from reading them LOL!

The lobster rolls were amazing!! YUM!!

Remember that when we drink too much water, we are flushing out some

important minerals out of our body, electrolites that are essential to us, that

might be making you a bit dizzy that is why when I have fasted I have

placed a bit of ALOE VERA juice straight from the plant itself, put it into

the juice or into the same shake you have.

Do NOT blend the ALoe Vera, just stir it up, its full of MINERALS & vitamins

and zero calories!! Just my humble opinion!! That is a lot better, than

drinking some sugary sports drink to replace the electrolites & minerals that

are being flushed out of your body when you drink too much water

HANG IN THERE SUZETTE!!

GOOD LUCK WITH IT ALL!!

HAPPY & GOOD THOUGHTS GOING YOUR WAY!!

(((HUGS)))

Take good care,

Countrylv22

Suzette, best of luck to you on your cleanse. I had excellent results while taking a specific multi vitamin (mail order only) that I dropped meds for. I'm no dr. but some people believe there is something called 'protracted withdrawal' which has to do with residual toxins remaining in body tissues for a long time after meds are stopped. The multi vitamin was supposed to help purge the body of the toxins over time. Anyway, I'm hoping you see healthy results! Keep us posted!

Hey all, I am into the second day of my fast...I am doing ok, I have lost 4 pounds in just a day, as my body is ridding itself of all the toxins. But boy I am looking forward to tomorrow when I get to have my one meal again. I already have a place picked out where my hubby and I are going to have lunch. Lisa, you might know the place....Paquito Mas. That is our home away from home, lol. I love the chicken and steak tacos. The meat is all grilled, ohhhhh its so good. Well anyway that is the update for the day.

Thank you country and lisa for your good thoughts. I am so excited to see what is going to happen to my body in 40 days, when this process is done. I am really hoping my panic attacks will subside like a lot of others who have done this cleanse

I know Poquito Mas but have never eaten there. I'm more of a Wolf Creek or BJ's girl. And I love that loud whacky Italian restaurant at the mall with the rotating pope's head table. My favorite restaurant there is Mojito. I'm not supposed to be making you hungry though!

BJs' is pretty good. They make a good french dip. I dont know if you have been here either, but Stone Fire has the most delicious(sp?) tri-tip I have ever had in my life. The Italian restaurant, I am sure you mean Bucca, with the meatballs the size of your head..hahah. Oh they have the most awesome garlic bread with big garlic cloves..I havent been to Mojito yet.

When I finally got to eat my lunch at paquito, sigh, I actually felt guilty about eatting. So I kind of let that ruin my lunch. Now I am back to the shake, meal, shake for 5 days and then antother 2 day fast..Lunches I can pretty much eat what I want, well within reason..lol. Anyway, I lost a total of 6 pounds in 2 days from de-toxifing.

Thanks again guys for the nice words and good thoughts

Wink Happy Friday!

Notice how our posts always revolve around food?

Suzette, Probably not easy for you to read about all this food everywhere. Please enjoy the meals when you are allowed to eat...it's your reward for sticking to the shakes & cleanse. It would be hard for me, I admit, to even do a cleanse. But I am a Weight Watchers Member...so I understand portion control and choices. Also, I do believe that food can be used as a reward, if done in moderation. Never feel guilty about eating. Food is a requirement for living...and it should taste good & be enjoyed!

Happy Friday everyone & have a wonderful weekend!!
