I realize this varies greatly and that most people use fireplaces/wood burning stoves, etc. Just wondering though what you consider to be a comfortable room temperature in the winter.

I like it at 66-67

65 at night

66 when we're home, 63 after bedtime. Could probably do 62. We have programmable thermostat, so it warms up just before I have to get up. That's a big deal to me.

Guess we'll have to turn it up upstairs ( we don't use the upstairs ) but after busting my hump fixing the broken linkage to the plow truck earlier today I came into the house to find a waterfall ( broken pipe upstairs) fun fun fun

My thermostat is programmed at 64. I turn it up to 68 when I get home, then it drops itself back to 64 at 8pm. I don't bother to turn it up in the morning. If it's too cold to shower I use a small electric heater in the bathroom.

Mine is the old gold colored mercury Honeywell.
Somewhat accurate. Between 62 - 64.

Also use a Mr. Heater tank top during the day.

Default 67°

67°F in the room where I am, 60 otherwise.

Humidity makes a big difference in what feels comfortable.

I'd be freezing at the above temps. I keep mine at 71 or 72.

We keep it at 62 at night and we "crank it up" to 64 during the day. When we have company we turn it up to 68-70 for their sake, but find it's too hot for us. I guess it's all what you are accustomed to because in the summer we run the A/C almost constantly to keep the house in the mid-60's.
