I live in Seabrook, which has much lower taxes, very few fees, no parking meters, free garbage and recycling pickup, etc. The town is also very probusiness, and there are now a few locations open for that kind of thing because of the recession. (It's been tougher trying to get new businesses to open, here.) You can also get access to a lot of things you need on or near Route 1 without any kind of long drive.
The bottom line is that you'll likely garner more business while paying out less money. Since your business is local, you'll likely get patronized more by the locals. Seabrook is also a great town to live in with almost no crime. It's very quiet, but there is also a lot of business activity because of our proximity with Mass.
