Is it safe to live on Pine Street in Manchester?

Red Oak Properties has had negative online reviews. But they have an A- rating by the BBB. Should people avoid Red Oak Properties?

No matter who the management company is for any property there will be negative reviews out there. Red Oak is a large leasing company in Manchester and there are going to be tenants that are mad or not happy. Being said I know someone who lived in one of their buildings (not the one on Pine) and had a great experience.

red oak manages mostly crappy tenement buildings in the city. that's not to say that you can't find some decent places, but they certainly won't be on pine street.

Red Oak is known as having housing all over Manchester. Much of it is (at least) not in the "best" areas, but when I lived there (Manchester), many of the areas they offered housing were in areas such as 2nd & Granite Street and/or some other apartment buildings.

I don't have any personal experience WITH the company, and I was renting from friends in the area -- I stayed away from any of the apartments "just off the highway" because in Manchester there appeared to be issues with health concerns in several "managed" apartments.

Check out the area and the apartment(s) you are looking for. When I moved out of state, I found a jewel of a housing opportunity in an area that many don't consider favorable, but the property and management is superb and I'm very happy.

The rule of thumb for Manchester is......... stay away from any street named after a tree.

I lived on Merrimack st. Red oak treated me good. Was there for a year or so.
My ex stayed for 2 more years and was treated good.
Keep expectations realistic. And I'd rent from them again if I was to move back to nh
