One of my friends was telling me that two poker establishments are opening soon in Southern NH, on near the old Rockingham racetrack, the other in Salem. She tells me that half of the profits for these places will go to charities. I'd much rather those funds go towards the public school systems. Every little bit counts!

Actually only 35% goes to charities and they have to sign up with the poker rooms to get a cut. The charity has to apply to the state and pay a fee in order to participate.
