I read this and thought it would be fun to do on the NH thread. Lets have everyone say what their screen names mean and how you thought of them. Some are self explainitory(sp?), others are not.
How I came up with my name; My name is Suzette and my BD is 2-2-62 Lol ![]() |

Sounds like a fun thread! <g>
My first screen name (before I had the admin change it) was windchimes03561 - because I love windchimes and my zip code...I had it changed because I noticed a number of other "windchimes" posting it on various forums; some of the posts I wasn't too keen about, so wanted to change my name to avoid confusion. I changed it to DareToDream for 2 reasons - #1 - I think we all need to "dare to dream" to make things happen in our lives - no matter how "outlandish" we may think our dreams are <g>....and #2 - It was the name of a Yanni CD that I listened to endlessly while battling panic disorder and my former marriage - it helped me get through many rough patches....Of course that was when Yanni was more "pure" in his music....I heard his latest CD and thought it sounded terrible, like he'd "sold out" to other influences...but that's a whole other topic! ![]() |

This seems like it could be fun ... SkiChick ... it's pretty self explanatory ... I'm a female who likes to ski, ski, ski, and ski some more! My Mom was a ski racer who competed in the nationals and passed down her talent to me. I raced all through HS and competed in the Junior Olympics and in college ... crash and burned ... got tired of racing but continued for fun. I was ranked #4 in NYS during college and made it to the easterns. I now coach the little kids and am exploring other avenues ... cross country skiing, telemark skiing, and backcountry skiing, and snowboarding. Well, there is a little tid bit about me and my winter life. That's all folks!

J.M. are my initials. The X is just a filler to meet the 3-character minimum required for usernames. Why X? Because when I think of 3-letter codes, I think of airports. And airport codes use the letter X as a filler (e.g. LAX, PDX, etc.)

Oh I think 'Wanna Come Home' is pretty self explanatory
somehow, I just like it better than 'Judy' - although I sometimes use 'costumer' on other boards simply because I make and compete a lot of costumes. And yes, I remember 'The Streak' (but I was too late. ..Ethel: put your clothes on!!!) |
