Just curious what people do about their car registrations when splitting the year between New Hampshire and Florida. Re-register every 6 months, keep a different car in each state, does either allow you to keep the other state's registration for that long?

Thanks!

My Aunt is a SnowBirds,

Now she has a Condo in a highrise that has 1 "enclosed" parking space/storage area, that has a "open" parking slot in front of it, (So 1 "Garage" spot and one "open" spot in front of it in the parking deck. (She has a "high up spot 3rd or 4th level, so should be above any hurricane water level) She keep her FL car registered in FL, She has a NH car that she keeps in her Garage in NH in the winter, registered in NH.

Before she had the Highrise Condo, she rented in FL, and kept her FL car over the summer in a UStore it center, with her other FL stuff.

Don't ask, don't tell. If you plan on driving back and forth just keep your car registered in one locality year round.

This. Pick one state, make it your legal residence, and make sure you spend 183 days in that state.
