Getting a Job
Here is my deal. I am a teacher in Texas. My wife will obviously not move to New Hampshire without me at least having a job lined up first. She is in accounting. I am excellent as far as public speaking goes and would make a good Trainer/salesperson. Does anybody have any connections or know of any sites I can check for jobs on other than monster and careerbuilder. I never get responses from those sites and am not even sure those jobs listed are legit. Thank you for your help.

There is a need for teachers in NH. They might pay as well or as poorly as Texas. Try googling the NEA websire for info on teaching in NH. Friends tell me the rest of the job market is beginning to collapse for all but the very well connected.

Don't totally give up on the monster/careerbuilding route. The only reason I'm actually in NH is because of that. I took a job in Ann Arbor Michigan and never took down my resume from those sites. About the time I decided I hated my job I got a call for my current one, and a few months later off to NH i went.
I am in a pretty specialized field though, and out of the maybe 4 or 5 legit job offers I got I would get 20 insurance selling/mass email/spam-type replies.

The official website for positions in NH public education is edjobsnh.com. Having been employed in the public schools, teachers who will be retiring or leaving their current positions to transfer elsewhere will be giving their notices in April if they haven't already. (Many schools have their teachers sign their contract for the coming school year at the end of April). So in April and May, you'll start to see an increase in the openings that are listed.
As far as monster and career builder, I wouldn't bother looking there for teaching jobs. You want to check the state's site.
What is your certification in? (Don't say English because I ended that sentence in a preposition!)

JobsinNH.com sometimes has teaching positions, and they have a lot of other types of jobs.
