American Woman - I'm a newer person who is thinking about moving to Keene for husband's job and really struggling with the decision (we've lived in Dallas for 16 yrs. but are from PA) - it seems so different from what we are used to, but that is part of the appeal for me too! I was glad to see your post - Keene and the whole region sound amazing and you've encouraged me to keep moving forward!

Then it wasn't a total waste of my time! I think PA is beautiful also but I still will never leave this region. It has such a unique flavor. The area and NH as a whole, is known for the artisans that either pour out of here or into the region. Most are very resourceful and creative, warm and endearing. It is a huge culture shock from Dalls, no doubt, but of course I would only encourange it!
