Manchester-ites please check in
Hi guys - I know we have posters who live in Manchester - I hope none of you were near the fire in those townhouses! I turned on WMUR a little before 9 p.m. and saw that raging fire. Please check in so we know you're okay. According to their website this morning, nearly 100 were left homeless.

I don't think it is mother-henish at all. I think it is nice of you to be concerned about your forum friends  .
I too hope everyone is ok. I saw the clips on the news-unbelieveable.

I a Manchvegas resident, so I will check in....all is good with me, although that fire was right down the street from me......scary.
If you really want to help, the Greater Manchester Red Cross could use cash donations to assist with rent, security deposits, etc for the 100 folks in need................

Hi Angela - Glad you are okay! It must have been pretty scary having that monstrous fire down the street from you. We saw the addy for the Red Cross there and did send in a donation. We felt so bad for all those people! |
