What about a hike somewhere?

My husband just bought a great book to help introduce us to NH and all the things to do...I think it's called Exploring New Hampshire, by Christina Tree. I'd look for you but he took it back to NH with him tonight! I think Concord and Manchester had separate chapters, though -- they seemed chock full of stuff to do. I seem to recall a children's museum in Concord - I don't know if that is different than the science museum, though.

Just a side note....that is April Vacation week for many school districts in NH. So...kid related things may be a bit busier than normal around here! Also, I don't know if you are into skiing, but there may be some spring skiing still in existence at that time up north.............

Good luck.

Talking Hello "BRYFRY"!! Another idea.... :0) :0)

HELLO THERE!!

How about SANTAS VILLAGE in the White

Mountains! Your 7 year old will love it! And your 13 year old will love

it, but probably not admit it LOL!

My understanding is that they are opened throughout the year.

The website is Santas Village Fun for Kids of all Ages They are open from 9:30 AM to

5:00PM. The address I found is: 528 Presidential Highway, Route 2

Jefferson, NH 03583

I truly hope that you & your family have an AMAZING time while in NH!!

Hopefully more people will chime in with ideas!! But I do not think that they

will be bored!

Take care "BRYFRY"

Have a great day!!

Going to Manchester is not out of the question. We are doing some fact finding/town checking/house hunting while we are up there, but that's not very much fun for the kids. Any thoughts guys?

Default Canterbury Shaker Village & Kaleidoscope

I looked into going to CSV over vacation week, but I don't think it opens until May... Bummer. Also, my friend told me that Kaleidscope Childrens Museum is great for younger kids, but told me that my 6 year-old might be bored. The Portsmouth Children's Museum is a lot of fun, but might be better for your younger child. I'm looking for things to do with my 3.5 & 6 yr old that same week, too! Good luck! We moved here 2 years ago from the midwest and love it here! It's got everything - mountains, ocean, forests, city access! Best wishes.
