Fallfanatic - Littleton has been very pretty the last 2 years at Chritmas. We even have a Christmas parade! (Littleton has a LOT of parades, it seems).

They're planning the one for this year now, in fact.

Ok can someone tell me why when I look at the gorgeous picture Asta posted, why does it bring tears to my eyes?? LOL. I swear I am such a sap. When I see photos like that, it touches me in some way...yes I know I am way too corny, but I cant help it.

Dare I want to come to the Christmas Parade.

There used to be some good trout fishing in Lower Beech Pond in Wolfboro.I had a bunch of relatives there and used to go there a lot as a kid. There is a hardware store in town but it's just a regular modern day hardware store. Nice town but the traffic is terrible.

fallfanatic - here's a link with to what's going on and what will be going on - just browse through the site and links and it will give you a good idea of the town and activities....I see on the Chamber of Commerce page, there's also going to be a car show and parade in September (told you Littleton has a bunch of parades!)

Littleton, New Hampshire

Glad you liked the picture of Stark! It is a little gem of a town. Here are some more Thomas Kincaid-type pictures I found on the internet. The first one is an autumn photo of Stark, taken from the other side of the bridge. This photographer is really amazing!

Google Image Result for http://www.bobgrantphotography.com/images/C-08ST~1.JPG

If you cross the bridge in Stark and drive a little way on a dirt road, you will come to Christine Lake. It's gorgeous and unspoiled, and the way to it is not marked (at least the last time I was there). I think the locals keep it's location a secret in order to keep it unspoiled. It's a great place to view loons.
