I don't know that much about Lancaster or Sugar Hill, but I wouldn't be surprised if Bethlehem had more affluent people living there.
Of course, the caveat has to be that people up here don't "flaunt what they have" for the most part and, while imagine there are some who try to "keep up with the Joneses", thankfully we don't hang out with them, so it's not has obvious as in some areas of the country......which is a good thing, as far as I'm concerned

Scenery, activities, and everything else aside, I think I've about decided Littleton's biggest assets are the residents. I don't know when I've ever come across more genuine people in a single location.
To get a few of ventures in order up that way I had to send one of my associates to Bretton Woods the week after Christmas for a meeting. After being there for about 3 days I got the following text:
"I'm never leaving here. Just got back from Littleton. Please send my severance check via PayPal."
"My respone: What severance?"

Dare is AWESOME! We've only spoken via the board, but is the type of genuine personality I've found at every turn up that way. I have to make a turn around trip next week and I think I've decided to take a different staff member each time. By the time I get everything up there on a permanent basis, my entire office will already live there.

If not someone had better tell him before someone else figures it out.

Oh, sure - there are many who own places/land and come up periodically - I don't count them as "locals" though. I consider locals to be those who live and work in the area year-round....and believe me, you can tell which ones are which when you run into them. I tend to steer clear of them as much as possible
