Hi sandbar - We never stayed in a B&B up here, but here's a link to Littleton Bed and Breakfasts - I have no clue how updated it is, but it could be a starting point for you: Littleton Bed and Breakfasts . I *think* the Beal House is under new management - it was closed for awhile but now seems to have some activity, so I think it's open again......rumor has it, it also is "haunted"
When we came up to look around, we stayed at the Eastgate Eastgate Inn, Bar & Grill - Littleton, NH and have had family and friends stay there as well - it's also "pet friendly" if you'll be bringing any pets with you.
Let us know when you'll be in the area!

Hi Sandbar:
This it outside Littleton. Actually it's closer to Jackson but if you don't find what you're looking for you might check out the Dana Place Inn.
White Mountain Resort, Pinkham Notch | Jackson NH | Dana Place Inn 800-537-9276
Some of my friends stayed there about a year ago and had nothing but good things to say about it.

Hi Dare & Sandbar!
If I may add my 2 cents! But the Sugar Hill Inn is a very beautiful B&B and only 5 to 10 minutes from Littleton! They also have a world class chef and I hear the food is sensational! I would definitely check them out!

I'll also add that the restaurant down the hill in Franconia (I can't remember the name, but it had a bar inside also) is a great place to eat if the dinner at Sugar Hill Inn is too expensive for you. The food was cheap for how good it was--very unassuming atmosphere--a "real" place to eat that's out of the way a bit.

Hi Sandbar! Happy you are going to Littleton this March, as I do believe you and your husband will enjoy the area very much!
Yes, usually there is significant snow during March and in most cases it is usually wet! Some days will be in the 40's to 50's and then some could be in the teens! So I would advise to be prepared for any kind of weather!

Hey Sandbar!
Dare would be the person to ask as I haven't spent a March there yet. We just started looking hard at that part of NH in the last year and began the process of dealing with the logistics and making sure we could run everything business wise from that area.
So far it's looking very positive and the people there are so great to work with. Unfortunately I haven't gotten to make as many of the trips as I'd have liked, but everyone I've had to send up there comes back in love with New Hampshire. In fact the guy I told you that I had to send up to Bretton Woods at the end of December is headed back this month to look at houses. Whether we can move the company up there or not, he's planning to buy a house immediately, and move as soon as his kids get out of school this year.
I may be up there next month too for a meeting. Unfortunately my trip is starting to look like it may only be overnight if not in and out in the same day, and I'll probably only get to see Concord.
