We drove through Woodstock last July. Only it was disappointing not to stay in the Woodstock Inn adjacent to the brewery and have to continue onward to camp in a tent in the rain next to a rising brook. Next time I'm staying there and planting myself on a stool at the brewery till it's time to go home. - Woodstock Inn Station & Brewery - New Hampshire Lodging

Also I understand that south of Littleton in Woodstock there is a great gun dealer.??
Here's a list I found on the NH Fish and Game Website:

If you ever make it up to Groveton, check out Emerson's. The staff is really helpful, and they have lots of great stuff!

Unfortunately, Emerson's is in the process of downsizing, and moving out of the new building and back into the hardware store downtown.

That's too bad. But at least they are not going out of business, that would really be a shame. I used to shop at the old store when I lived up north. The people were really helpful and knowledgeable about a lot of things.

It sounds (from the weather report) that Littleton will be having snow to welcome sandbar to the area - anybody know when they're coming? Sandbar? You still here or are you on your way?

Just curious Lisa, Dare and Nicolem, how would you rate the food at the Woodstock Inn Station & Brewery?

Thanks for the heads up Aptor! Will have to check it out! I have been through Woodstock and North Woodstock many times. Truly a very quaint Small Town with IMHO qualifies for one of the "Best Small Towns in New Hampshire!"

If you like Sushi the Imperial Palace right on the corner has been very good to me I have to say that North Woodstock isn't the first town that I think of when I think of good Sushi but I am THRILLED to have yummy sushi less than fifteen minutes from my home
