Thank you so much, Country, for remembering. You and our CD friends mean a lot to me, and I am honored and genuinely deeply touched to be remembered. Country, you are the steward of personal good will.

NJ Guy, Happy Belated Birthday!! I hope it was a good one!

What I am doing today: I have the day off from my job and taking the day off from business. Being 'mom', mostly. I am grateful for my family and my responsibilities, and take great joy in getting even small tasks done. Handed my laptop over to my son (11) for his History research paper on Clarence Thomas so I have limited access today, doing laundry, cleaning and wearing one of three warm wool sweaters I recently bought at Building 19 at $9.99 each. Ate a yummy apricot pastry from a bakery in Nashua DH brought home for breakfast and have had several cups of coffee already in lieu of lunch as is my preference. Keeping a low profile and reading The Fountainhead.

Best part of my day so far: Seeing pictures of my neice's newborn wearing a onesie adorned with the image of a baby wearing an iPod w/caption "iPood". I can't wait to meet this beautiful new addition to my family.

Tonight I am going out to dinner, no idea where but prefer quality food to ambiance so it is unlikely to be an elegant outing. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears.

Thanks again for thinking of me! I hope you are all having a joyful day too!

HAPPY HAPPY HapPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU DEAR LISA!!!!

And many more!!!!!!

DEAR LISA,

Thank you so very much for your KIND words, your KIND & sweet

post!!!Thank you for everything you said!! It means the world to me!!

I really appreciate it!!! I truly wish that I could remember

every single person on here, most of the time I do, but some times

LIFE gets in the way & or the tech world (no internet, PC failure) etc.

I wish I could put a SMILE on everyone on THEIR SPECIAL DAY!!!

YOU HAVE ALWAYS HELD A SPECIAL PLACE FOR ME!!!Like we were

friends or relatives growing up

I might not be able to be online all of the time, but you & ALL of our

CD FRIENDS are always in my thoughts & prayers. I am always

wondering what you are all up to, if you are OK or not.

PLEASE remember that!! THANK YOU for your KINDNESS

& FRIENDSHIP!!!May GOD BLESS YOU on this day & always!!!!

Oh, GREAT choice for breakfast, I am crazy about apricot

& apple pastries yum! I hope there are some left for later

I hope that you are having a lovely day!! That you are enjoying

your children & hubby!!

I also personally prefer QUALITY over elegance & or quantity.

I do NOT like chain type places & I love different types of salads

I like healthy & yummy type dishes,

sometimes you can manage to get both!

I tend to enjoy seafood, scallops, shrimp, crab meat, a little

lobster does not hurt either, LOL etc. A lobster roll right

now sounds GREAT!! He he he!

Maybe a New England Clam Chowdah!

And to top it all off, a blueberry lemon tart sounds YUMMY

BLUEBERRIES are very good for ya!!LOL!

So, that is what I would have There is that place in Bedford

that has an amazing menu, but I think its more of a place

you would go with your hubby alone, so not sure....

There is also a place I was told about a long time ago, in Exeter

that serves good stews, meat dishes, its more family oriented,

I heard that the food was really tasty there. I will see if I can

find the name. It is probably less expensive than the place in

Bedford & a more relaxed atmosphere.

Either way, have an AMAZING time with your family, ENJOY them!!!

That is what LIFE is really about, MAKING MEMORIES

with your LOVED ones!!

CONGRATS on your new NIECE, WOOHOOO!!! I hope

you are able to see her soon! May GOD BLESS that little

bundle of JOY!!

GREAT PRICE on those sweaters!!!ENJOY!!

I hope your son gets an A on his paper!

There are several BIRTHDAY wishes for you on the previous page!

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU DEAR LISA!!!

PLEASE CELEBRATE ALL WEEKEND LONG!!! ALL MONTH LONG!!!

ITS YOUR SPECIAL TIME!!!!

Lots of CAKE, CHOCOLATE, WINE & GREAT FOOD going your way!

(((((((((((HUGS))))))))))

PEACE & BLESSINGS!!!!!!

LUV YA!!!

CHEERS!!

Hi Lisa, and Happy Birthday to you!! I hope that you had a great day (sure sounded like it--just a day to relax with the family sounds wonderful!!) and that you were able to get out for a special meal with loved ones. Where did you end up going? Sure wish that I could have made it here earlier to share in all the chocolate, balloons and celebrations, etc. but I guess better late than never.

And a happy belated birthday to you also, NJguy Hope your day was terrific!!

And of course, thank you Country, for continuing and sharing your own thread to celebrate Lisa's birthday. And finally, thank you Suzette, for starting this thread such a long time ago. It's my personal favorite thread on all of CD
