Default Thanks for all the Sunapee area info!

Just wanted to say thanks to you all for your help (and patience) in helping us figure out where to live in the Sunapee region! My husband started his new job last week and is renting a condo in New London for a couple of months. We're well on our way to finding a house to buy in the New London/N. Sutton area, too. Our house is on the market down here in the metro-Baltimore/Annapolis/DC area and me and our girls will join my husband after school is out in June. I even found two great camp options for my third grader...now if I could only figure out daycare/pre-school for the 4 year old... :-)

I can't thank you enough for your help, encouragement, and good humor!

Good Luck to you. I love New London and spend as much of my free time as possible in the Sunapee area. NH is a nice escape from the crowds and chaos of CT.

Good luck, NDQ! You are headed for a great area. It was on our list, but just too far out for the job commute. I still love to pass through. The farm market near the north end of main street in New London is very cool....yummy strawberrys that you can pick for yourself! Let us know when you settle in!!

Kenoodle is on a distinguished road
The Dartmouth-Lake Sunapee region's primary newspaper, the Argus-Champion, published its final issue July 30, 08, after 185 years in business. It was a great resource.

On that same day, a new Website popped-up (http://www.sunacom.com) to fill some of the gaps the newspaper left, and it's doing things the print newspaper could never do, such as a forum component, like this site.

As of today, it's been on-line for just a few days, but there's plenty there already to keep you interested.

NDQ~ Glad to hear that things are going well for you in New London. We visited there and Sunapee on our trip a couple of weeks ago, and thought both towns were nice. Thanks again for your help.
Good that your third grader is finding things to do. I teach third grade, so I am very partial to that age group. Hope her first year in her new school is a great one, and your four year old's, as well.
Nancie
