short term furnished rental options in Portsmouth

Company is sending me to Portsmouth for 1 month but can not seem to find a furnished rental. They give me up to $150 weekly allowance to spend on housing and I will only have use of a bicycle or bus to get around the town. I will be working close by Clipper Harbor. Can you please recommend some furnished rentals please. I don't mind rooms, studios, hostels etc

I would just need internet, stove/hot plate, fridge, bath and a bed.

Thank you

$150 per week? What kind of a budget is that? I think most companies would be budgeting at least $150 per night. Portsmouth, NH, is an expensive town.

You can probably find a room at one of the motels off Woodbury Ave. or Route 1 for ~$70 per night but you'll never get anything for $150 per week. If your company really wants you to be in Portsmouth for a month then they are going to have to increase their budget.

Residence Inn Waterfront in Portsmouth. Current daily rate is $139 per night. Care to divulge the name of the miserly company that you work for?

Craig's List for Portsmouth has quite a few furnished rooms listed.

Don't know if the landlords will rent for just one month.

$21 a night? LOL. Not in Portsmouth. Not anywhere.

Dan's Rooms on the corner of Hanover and Parker behind The Pearl?
He has just a handwritten sign on the outside visible here.
Not sure if it is still there -might've gone the way of the Brewster.
