Default Manchester, Derry & Nashua Job Market?

Hi everybody !

How is the current job market/ growth in Manchester, Derry & Nashua? Are many large companies/ businesses located in those areas? Is the unemployment rate high, Low?

How is the market compared to maybe Boston or nearby cities?

Thanks - Have a safe weekend!!

I see a ton of adds for BAE in Merrimack and Nashua...not sure what type of job market you're looking for- it probably depends mostly on your experience/education/type of job you want...

I lived in Derry, but worked in Boston. Not too much industry in Derry - it's a bedroom community for Boston.

there is a small hospital, a few elementary schools and two middle schools in Derry. There is also a golf course and a couple of supermarkets. There are minimum wage jobs available and if you are a doctor, or a dentist, you are more than welcome to hang a shingle.

The job market in southern NH Manchester-Nashua is good. Lot's of high-tech.
The unemployment rate for the entire state is also below the national average - though that's relative because once you get too far north, there is very little industry.

Also, southern NH is also a feeder to any jobs in eastern Mass down to Boston. So your opportunities should be wide reaching.
