Default Londonderry

We built a home in Nh and after much research for tax and cost of homes. We looked at the Londonderry town and ended up in Bedford the cost of the home was about 10, 000 less

We now live in Fl snow was not for over 55 years and older

I Live in Pelham - which has gotten very pricey -- but look at Derry, and Sanddown - Hudson is priced OK - although Schools are not the best (not sure if you need Schools though) As for welcoming transplants -- everyone is friendly - ... the further North you go the Slower life is - and the more people will stop you and chat

New Hampshire is on a distinguished road
I agree with everyone else. I moved to New Hampshire and was welcomed. New Hampshire depends upon tourism in lieu of income and sales taxes, so people are used to out-of-towners during the summer and ski season. Very friendly and welcoming.

Connecticut considers anyone not born in Connecticut a "foreigner."
