This blog is so funny to me - LOL LOL. All you people must drive in the boonies. Try driving in 5 o'clock traffic down route 3, 93, 101 through Manchester or Nashua, its crazy stupid, people will kill you, I grew up in NH, I'm 32 yo. In the last 10 its gotten so bad. Try going 101/293 to S.Willow brown ave anyday, its crazy stupid busy! I hate it! And then you throw in the snow or freezing rain, and it just get soooo bad, I can't believe people live here, I can't wait to save enough to move south.

"In the winter I pulled over in the Wolfeboro area after a big snow storm to take pictures and there was no one around. Then this guy comes up and starts to honk and yell because he has to go around me a little bit. There was absolutely no oncoming traffic, the road was straight, and he approached me going about 10 miles per hour. The roads had been plowed, it was not icy, so I don't know what his problem was. Let me tell you, it's pretty weird having someone approach you so slowly and honk and yell as they practically crawl past you. Who knows, maybe it was some guy from Atlanta that's petrified of snow?"
LOL - must have been my buddy in Wolfeboro. He's a real twerp. He gets po'd when people don't use the crosswalk to cross Main St. and will drive as close as he possibly can without hitting them. He IS a MA transplant and is one of the most rude and aggressive residents of Wolfeboro.
Sorry, that happened to you, but it's not common. You had an unusual experience, especially for NH north of Concord.

This thread is a more than a little ridiculous. How many people will make life decisions based on a handful of second-hand and third-hand experiences? The logic goes like this:
"A person tailgated/yelled/threatened me on the road while I was driving in NH. Someone else had a similar experience. Therefore, NH is filled with these kinds of people."
It's the same as if you said this:
"One time, I got food poisoning from a restaurant. I knew someone else who also got food poisoning once. Therefore, all restaurants will poison you, and I will never eat out again."

I drive most of those roads on a regular basis. Never seen any difficulty in it. I'm sure in 10 years traffic density has probably increased (so has the entire worlds), but I don't see any huge "danger".

Well, I've got to say I just got annoyed with a person who stopped by the road to take pictures a few weeks ago. He was annoyed with me, as well, for what that's worth.
It was snowing fairly hard, and the car ahead of me pulled to the side of a busy (for the sticks) road. There was only about 3' of shoulder where he pulled off, so his car was half on the road, half off. He got out of his car with something in hand and stood in the middle of the lane. I couldn't tell what he was holding.
My first thought was that it was a volunteer ambulance or fire guy and that there was some sort of situation ahead that required him to stop traffic. So I stopped. He stood by his car staring at me. I still wasn't sure why he was out of his car and standing in the travel part of the roadway, and still couldn't tell what he was holding in his hand. He then flagged me by with a very annoyed expression on his face yelling something at me and waving his mystery object -- a camera -- as I passed him.
I don't mind people taking pictures if they pull over safely, but blocking traffic in a snowstorm (when there's an empty parking lot fifty yards away, no less) isn't appreciated.

One thing I've noticed about drivers in NH is that when it snows or sleets they like to drive 100 MPH. When it's sunny they like to go 20 MPH below the speed limit and if you dare pass, they gun it.

Well he needs to hold a convention, he's behind the power curve on taking his memberships.
