New London, NH housing
We are a couple, retired. We desire housing in New London from June 7 to November 7, 2008. We prefer a small, clean apartment or condo, furnished -- 2 bedrooms at least. Thank you.

Check with local realtors. Valerie C on this forum might be able to help.

we are moving to New London and are under contract on a house. I highly recommend our realtor, Marybeth Angeli of Angeli and Associates. NH Real Estate, NH Homes, NH Land, NH Waterfront, NH Realtors, NH Lake Sunapee, NH Excellence in RE
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. We were really happy with her.
Good luck, jackie

Thanks for mentioning my name bryfry. Unfortunately I'm too far from New London to be of much use there, but I'm happy to search the MLS and report back to the OP on what's available. But Jackie (notdancingqueen) found a very good Realtor, and has shared the name (not sure if we're allowed to do that publicly or not) and contact info.
mjevne, I wish you all the best in your quest to New London. It's a beautiful community!

From what I can tell in the Terms of Service, the prohibition is on realtors themselves from advertising or peddling their services, not on members recommending realtors (or any other firm or service for that matter - unless they are a competitor to city-data.) If I read that wrong (Suzet?!) let me know and I will scrub my post above - thanks!

I think you're right Jackie, (that we can't post links to City-Data's competitors) and as long as it's not self-promotion/solicitation we can make references on everything else so why not real estate too. I think there's been some confusion on what is and isn't allowed, and for awhile nobody was posting links to anything (which really sort of defeats the purpose of the forum IMO!)

You can post a link, as long as it isnt to your own website, or is in competion with CD, as Val pointed out. No personal advertising . I am fine with the post notdancingqueen. I am glad you asked for people to DM you for info, as that does need to be done in private and behind the scenes . And no posting of email addresses, or phone numbers. For some reason those are tough ones for folks to remember .
