Bad things about town in NH
This may sound weird, but I am looking for bad things about Keene, NH. I am trying to compare things in different towns, and all I get is info about good things. I want honest answers about bad things in Keene and bad things about the school district, I know the good things already! Any thoughts anyone?
Thanks!

God help us
Is this a joke?
It should not be very hard to get negative feedback by one of the posters on this board-you really don't have to look hard. Just take it as one person's opinion and not as gold.
Keene has good and bad like anytown in any state in the whole country. No place is paradise.

I noticed that this was your absoute first post and thus my skepticism. If you are legitimately looking for negative feedback then you can search plenty of posts by someone who lived a short time in NH and pretty much hates everything about it. We have had nothing short of a Keene/NH bashing lately and thus my initial reaction to your post. Seeing it was your first post made me think that someone was out trolling. If not then I apologize.
I wish we had someother Keene posters for you-maybe some will chime in.

Hello MomtoTJandK - Use the search function (at the top of the page - use "advanced search") and type in Keene and click on the NH forum, which I believe is down the page a bit and on the right (all the forums are listed there), then click search and you will find plenty of negative info on Keene. As Nicolem said, there's a poster who lived there for a year and hated it and posted all the negatives (from her perspective) ad nauseum.
Hopefully someone else from the Keene area will chime in as well, especially someone with children in the school district, who can give you first-hand info on the school district.

Thanks for your feedback. This was my first post and I have spent some time researching two towns to find some proof of which would be better for my children and I just keep getting praises from the schools about how great they are. I personally lived right outside of Keene and hated it because I knew no one and I was pregnant and miserable, but I wasn't involved in the town and that was also 6 years ago so I just really wanted current thoughts and feedback! I will do the search and look around the site a bit more. Thanks again!

Wow, this is funny. First post looking for bad things on Keene???? That's just too odd. Obviously this person hasn't been strolling through the other threads because i think every thread has something bad in it to say about Keene particularly from the same person.
