Yup, if I saw a tornado touch down in front of me, the first thing I'd do is keep driving right into it. The second thing is to have a convoy drive over the debris to make more of a mess to clean up. What did people not understand about "severe thunderstorm warnings," "tornado warning," and "stay home" last night?
I saw this and was like "No! An actual tornado is the last thing I want to think of when I think of NH!" I know they do happen, but I like to pretend they don't!
I could not believe my eyes watching the truck in front drive straight into it! They're all lucky they are alive/uninjured and it doesn't look like much or any damage was done to their vehicles (granted, I don't think we see the truck that passes by again?). I wanted to say that tornado must have been pretty weak, but it was strong enough to tear down a bunch of trees as we see later in the video. Very scary.
It just goes to show how unpredictable tornadoes are, at first it looked like it was crossing the road, but then it was running parallel with the road right at them. :O
