Default Boater Safety Course

My husband and I just bought a boat, and were gently reminded about the safety course and the "license" you have to have. I took the practice test (I grew up on a lake in NH and thought I knew most of it). I FAILED!!! lol It seemed to me that there are a bunch of questions about federally controlled waters, river locks, and not much to do with lakes and such. Am I looking at the right test? Is there more than one topic, or is it all encorp?

TIA
