Default Thinking of moving to NH

My family and I are thinking about moving to New Hampshire. Our main priority is good schools and activities for our children. We're also looking for friendly people and a beautiful landscape with nice homes (New England charm).

In a nutshell... the perfect town.

Any suggestions?

Well first of all there is no perfect town-anywhere. Where are you coming from? For some people NH can be very different. Have you been here before? Where will you be working? There are a lot of nice places to live but really where you work will dictate where you live. Do you need to work in Boston or will you be able to work in NH?

Activities for your children? Do they like to ski, sled, snowshoe, swim, hike, fish, bike etc? If so NH has a lot to offer them and you.

Perhaps if you give us a little more back ground we can better help you.

you've just described the entire state. LOL

nicole is right...a lot depends on where you will work - it's best to have a job first.

Hi.. Newport, NH is a great town. about 4,000. good schools. excellent library. local airport, radio station, terrific golf course, 5 miles to Lake Sunapee and 5 miles to Mt. Sunapee major ski area. Also town common with ice skating in winter, school graduations, crafts fairs, farmers market, etc. 10 min easy drive to I89 and 20 to I91. 30 min. to upper valley, 45 to Concord and Keene.
