Default 13th Annual Jerry Jam in Franconia

And even more entertainment in the area!

Here's a link for the Jerry Jam in August: Jerry Jam, Franconia NH Music Festival with Supplication, Masceo, Slow Natives, Pay the Piper, Crunchy Western Boys

Hubby will be doing the sound Saturday/Saturday night.....One of the artists, Maceo, was one of the first musicians we met when we first moved to the area and he hosted an open mic every week.

Dare that looks like fun. There are no activities here, it is too friggen hot to go outside. I am in hybernation mode right now. The smog has been awful. I would love to be where you are and getting looking forward to listening to all the wonderful musicians(did I spell that rightlol)playing. Come Aug here, it will only be hotter and all the landscaping will look dead.

Suzet - Since hubby is really getting into the "music scene" up here, quite frankly, I'm amazed at all that goes on - whether it be the Jerry Jam or other events that aren't publicized, but are held. Last year, we didn't know about the Jerry Jam, but managed to go to three or four other gatherings that were very similar....There's a lot that goes on up here....there's a Thursday night "acoustic jam" which is held in "the barn"...on Friday nights there may be an "electric jam" also at the barn and there's always a "bluegrass jam" held in "the shed" <g>. The jams go on all year round. The things like Jerry Jam go on in the spring and summer for obvious reasons.

I have a cousin who has a Reggae band on Long Island - we think he's coming up with his band for the Jerry Jam - not sure yet, though.

I would not do well in your area - as I've said before, I don't "do" heat well at all, and never have
